Academy Launch & Dinner
September 12, 2019

4:00 – 8:00 PM
The 2019-20 cohort will gather for some introductory learning and orientation. We will finish up with fellowship around a meal and pray for each other and the journey ahead.

Retreat 1:
October 3, 2019

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This first retreat will focus on formation and catching a vision for individuals, churches, and networks to Shalomify their city. We will look at the Vocation Infusion Plan.

Retreat 2:
November 7, 2019

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
The second Academy retreat will focus on developing critical theological foundations in the faith, work, and economics conversation.

Retreat 3:
January 16, 2020

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This retreat will focus on implementation and organizational change, using each participant’s completed Infusion Plans. We will also share other helpful resources to continue the journey.

Retreat 4:
Feb 27, 2020

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This retreat will focus on economics, social enterprise, and international development. We’ll explore fresh perspectives on missions and deploying people in light of vocational stewardship.

Apr 23, 2020

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This retreat will focus on the the power and possibilities of being the church of the city equipped with culture creating vocational power.

A commitment to complete the reading and homework assignments in a timely yet unrushed manner.

Completion of the Vocation Infusion Plan.

It is a powerful self-assessment and planning tool. Its completion is critically important for governing effectiveness and tracking impact.

A minimum of $500 as a registration fee to participate in the learning community.
