 2021 RETREAT DATES

Retreats are on a Thursday morning and held online via Zoom.
The small groups will meet at a time and place (online or in person) as agreed upon by participants.

 

 

Retreat 1:
April 22, 2021

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This retreat will focus on vocation, calling, and work. We’ll cast vision for how individuals, churches, and networks can “shalomify” their city. There will be an introduction to the Vocation Infusion Plan.

Retreat 2:
May 13, 2021

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This retreat will focus on Kingdom economics, social enterprise, and discipleship for the public good. We will identify implications for discipleship as well as share best practices.

Retreat 3:
Jun 10, 2021

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This retreat will focus on the systemic practices (liturgies) that help form the kind of people who join in God’s redemptive efforts through their everyday vocations. We will explore fresh perspectives on missions and outreach.

Small Group 1

TBD (1.5 hours)
These small groups are designed to develop supportive environments for spiritual growth and peer-coaching. Discussion content: The Crisis of Leading Change with Tod Bolsinger. Also, Congregational asset mapping.

This meeting will occur after Retreat 1 and before Retreat 2.

Small Group 2

TBD (1.5 hours)
This meeting will address the character formation in Bolsinger’s book, Tempered Resilience. Discussion content will focus around congregational culture and culture change.

This meeting will occur after Retreat 2 and before Retreat 3.

Small Group 3

TBD (1.5 hours)
This meeting will continue to focus on character formation as presented in Bolsinger’s book, Tempered Resilience. Discussion content around congregational culture-making.

This meeting will occur after Retreat 3.

It is a powerful self-assessment and planning tool. Its completion is critically important for governing effectiveness and tracking impact.

A minimum of $300 as a registration fee to participate in the learning community.
